3 Weeks, 2 Parents, and 1 Lucky Guy.

In the last three weeks I have had some exciting times. Two trips to the top side of California, no church (alright, I really would like to go to church, but work did not permit it), three birthdays to deal with, some wicked hot weather, and one heck of an experience in the works.

Three Weekends:
I spent three weekends ago in San Francisco (my new favorite west coast town) for the Nike Woman's Marathon. My lovely girlfriend became my newest hero and finished the entire run (26.2 miles) in 6 hours and 7 minutes. Not to mention she was all smiles afterwards. We were put up in the Omni hotel in the Financial District of SF. While there I realized that I am going to work in this section of the world some day. On the second to the last day we woke up at 5.45 in morning, or was it 4.45 in the morning... and started our trek to Union Square. It was there that I understood the absolute briliance of some as big as a marathon. So early, so dark, SO many runners making their way to impressing me. It was a great run, a great day, and an amazing weekend! I truly needed a vacation, and Sarah allowing me to share this with her was PERFECT!!! So, a quick "Thank you" to her!

Birthdays, birthdays, birthdays... I will be quick: Micah October 20th, Mom October 24th, Dad October 31st, Me November 5th, Shelby and Tamara November 6th, Uncle Mikey November 9th (Celebrated November 5th).

It's been hot... this you know!

Arnold Schwartzenager (sp?) is Govenor again. I say "Good" for the simple fact that Angelides (sp?) was going to revoke prop 13 (something that would not have helped my parents... and hurt them even more).

I got a wireless router for my birthday and it is quite the difficult process... but it is obviously working now.

Two Parents:
I gave my mom her birthday gift today. Finally. Her gift were my bronzed baby shoes mounted with a three level picture frame behind them. It was great and she loved it. My father on the other hand is close to "getting it" with me. He has been in like 500 times in the process of me writing this blog to let me know that he does not understand computers. Does it occur to him that he makes a valiant effort to not understand computers? I was talking to Sarah about this the other day. If he made an effort to understand what it is I tell him, I would be happy to teach, but he doesn't. He gets frustrated and starts to complain and yell at me... yes... me. It is my fault that the computer did not download, that the printer did not work, and that the virus scan is not scanning. I dare him to show me how he finds the virus protection program in that thing... seriously. He is complaining about stuff he knows nothing about. Ahhh... parents (C: You gotta luv em!

One Lucky Guy:
I mentioned earlier that my girlfriend was my hero for running the marathon. She is. It may be sappy, but you should have seen the work that she put into running it, into finishing it, and into promoting for it. She is also the more patient, kind, caring, and hard working person out there! So... I am ONE lucky guy.

Have a good night.
